On August 1, 2021, Pastor Hamlett began a new assignment as the 3rd Pastor of Mt. Zion Church of God in Gastonia, NC.  Pastor Hamlett, along with First Lady Hamlett have a heart for people and their primary goal is to see lives transformed through the Word of God. Pastor Hamlett was licensed to preach on July 20, 2010 and ordained December 2, 2018 both by Dr. Sheridan Nelson, Senior Pastor of Abyssinia Baptist Church in Norfolk, VA. Pastor Hamlett was blessed to receive a Masters of Divinity from the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in May 2018. The Hamletts are grateful to God for the opportunity to serve God and God’s church in this way.
